BIOGRAPHY

Gibran Alcocer, a 21-year-old pianist, composer, and producer hailing from Yucatán, Mexico, has been immersed in music since childhood. He kicked off his musical journey by taking piano lessons, eventually diving into classical music studies. His knack for composition and production emerged at the tender age of 12.

In 2021, he hopped onto the TikTok bandwagon, gaining recognition for his piano cover performances. By early 2022, he ventured into crafting instrumental tunes.

Come July 2022, he dropped his debut original track, "Idea 10," a solo piano piece entirely composed, produced, and performed by himself. It quickly made waves across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. From then on, he continued creating original pieces, such as Idea 22, Idea 1, Idea 9, and Idea 15. He's known to assign these numerical names as he works on them, unveiling them to the world once he's fully satisfied.

Fast forward to July 2023, when he received an exciting invitation from renowned producer and artist Tainy, a six-time Latin GRAMMY®️ winner. Gibran joined forces as a composer and producer on Tainy's album "Data."

It was during this same month that his composition "Idea 1" caught the attention of DJ and producer Atmozfears. Atmozfears used it to craft "The Soul," a track that took the spotlight as the closing act for the "Defqon.1 Weekend Festival," the most important Hardstyle electronic music festival on the planet.

Gibran's music has resonated with millions worldwide on various streaming platforms, and content creators worldwide have embraced his tunes to enhance their videos.
